Parent Education Sessions

NBCPHA held its first Parent Education Session on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Taunton Public Library. Sarah Tong from the MA & RI Poison Center gave a presentation providing education on common types of poisons, preventative measures, and actions to take if poisonings occur. Since then, NBCPHA is fortunate to partner with other community organizations, including but not limited to Sarah Baroud, LICSW (Practice Makes Present, LLC & Postpartum Support International), Jodi Congdon, CPD, CLE (Hip to Heart Postpartum Doula & Lactation Educator), & Erica Cecil, RN, Doula and Lactation Educator.
